About JP Protein

Our Not-for-Profit Philosophy

JP Protein was never created to maximize profits.

It was created to solve a problem.

We believe everyone deserves access to clean, nutritious protein made from real, all-natural ingredients—not products filled with artificial sweeteners, preservatives, and unnecessary additives. Unfortunately, using the highest-quality ingredients isn't cheap, and that's exactly why so many companies choose cheaper alternatives.

We chose a different path.

Each JP Protein bar costs approximately NT$60 in premium ingredients, NT$10 for artisan packaging, and roughly NT$20 to cover production labor, taxes, and other essential costs. That brings our minimum sustainable price to NT$90 per bar.

Rather than maximizing our margins, we've chosen to price our bars as close to cost as possible because our mission isn't to make the most money from every customer—it's to put the healthiest, highest-quality protein into the hands of as many people as we can.

Pay What You Can

Not everyone is in the same financial situation, and we don't believe healthy nutrition should only be available to those who can afford premium prices.

That's why every box of six bars has multiple pricing options.

You can pay NT$540, which reflects our minimum sustainable price. If you're able and believe in our mission, you can also choose to pay NT$720, NT$900, or NT$1,080.

Every dollar above our minimum price is treated as an investment in the mission.

Your contribution helps us continue creating the highest-quality products possible, develop new recipes using exceptional ingredients, grow JP Protein without compromising our values, and provide protein bars to people who otherwise may not have access to healthy nutrition.

In other words, when you choose to pay more, you're not simply buying a box of protein bars—you're helping make the next one possible.

Built on Trust

We believe the future belongs to companies that earn trust instead of demanding it.

That's why we're committed to being radically transparent about our ingredients, our pricing, and the decisions we make as a company. We want to show you exactly where your money goes and why we make the choices we do.

Some people may say this isn't the smartest way to build a business.

We disagree.

We'd rather build something that people genuinely believe in than simply build another profitable company.

Looking Forward

Our goal is ambitious.

We want to build the number one protein brand in Taiwan—and one day, beyond.

Not by cutting corners.

Not by using cheaper ingredients.

Not by relying on clever marketing.

But by creating products we're proud to eat ourselves, using the highest-quality ingredients we can find, pricing them as fairly as possible, and building a company guided by purpose, honesty, and genuine goodwill.

If we succeed, we hope JP Protein proves that businesses can do more than generate profits.

They can improve people's health, strengthen communities, and become a force for good.
